Common Procedures We Treat
Mucocele Removal (Oral Cyst Removal)

What it is: A mucocele is a harmless, fluid-filled swelling that usually appears on the inside of the lower lip or cheek. It forms when a tiny salivary gland becomes blocked or injured.
The treatment: Your dentist gently removes the minor salivary gland beneath
the surface to prevent the cyst from filling back up.
Why it matters: It stops the annoying, repetitive cycle of the bump swelling up, bursting, and reforming, allowing your lip or cheek to heal completely.

Removal of Oral Verrucae (Mouth Warts)

What it is: Small, benign (non-cancerous) growths that can appear on the tongue, gums, or inside of the lips. They are usually rough to the touch and can be easily irritated by food or teeth.
The treatment: The dentist completely removes the growth at its base under a local anaesthetic to ensure it is fully cleared.
Why it matters: It eliminates chronic irritation, stops the spot from catching on your teeth while chewing, and restores a smooth, healthy texture to your mouth lining. What to Expect and Aftercare
The Appointment: These minor surgeries are quick, painless, and typically
completed in a single short visit.
The Healing Process: The area may be closed with a few tiny, dissolvable stitches that disappear on their own within 1 to 2 weeks.
Aftercare Care: Mild soreness or minor swelling for 2 to 3 days is completely normal. We recommend eating soft, cool foods, avoiding hot or spicy dishes for the first 24 hours, and maintaining excellent oral hygiene to ensure clean healing.
